Let’s start with the basics: I am 20 years old and am in my first year studying kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University.
I have had an interest in my finances since I read The Wealthy Barber when I was quite young, too young to fully grasp it. But what I did understand was that by saving some or all the money I made I would some day have more money than everybody else. This idea is what appealed to me.
Now that I am in school, I realize that many other people may be interested in their money as much as I am. That being said, most of the interest in our money revolves around how little we have and how to get more.
This blog is about my journey to graduate without any debt, and to help my fellow students do the same. Not only students can gain from this site, but that is the perspective from which it is being written. University should be some of the greatest years of your life (from what people tell me), so let’s not have money bringing us down.
