The creation of Fruits de Mer du Québec is the culmination of the efforts of entrepreneurs DaryCôté and Denis Fortin, proud of the fish from their Gaspé Peninsula, surprised to see neither fish nor seafood from the Gaspé on the shelves of major supermarkets in the Montreal metropolis.
They then committed to introducing Canadians to the foods that the Gaspésien eats.
