Assam Tea Company

Assam Tea Company was started in the United States at the turn of this century by Saunam Bhattacharjee, a fourth generation Assamese tea grower. The company's Canadian facility opened in 2008, and Indian facility in 2015.

The company is an importer of organic and conventional teas from Assam, as well as spices and herbs from farms in Africa, Europe, South America and the Far East. Our importing and blending facility is based in Burnaby, Metro Vancouver, Canada.

Our goal is to deliver fresh wholesome teas to our clients. All our teas are freshly blended in micro lots, once we receive confirmed orders.

We source our ingredients from organic farms whenever possible, and we use organic-compliant flavors free of preservatives and synthetic solvents for making our blends.
