In 1966, Lawrence "Pit" Lavergne, Councilor at Cap-de-la-Madeleine and businessman known for his involvement in his community, sees a promising future in marketing roast chicken. Moving from idea to action, he opened a counter-delivery on Fusey street as the "Fusey B.B.Q.". It could not be simpler and clearer with time. Success was immediate as delighting consumers with the best chicken ever. Juicy chicken is roasted, served with a generous portion of fries, gravy, coleslaw and bun.
